Finally, it's here! At least we hope it's here...the END of an era of corruption and inefficiency! And the Death in the Afternoon Drinking Society is ready to blow off steam and celebrate a new beginning.

On May 3rd, a new mayor will be sworn into office, marking the End of an ERROR. C. Ray will be gone, officially and "honorably", following the dishonorable exits of William Jefferson et fils (and family for you non french speakers), Aaron Broussard and his cronies in Jefferson Parish, Derrick Shepherd, Oliver Thomas, Jonathan Bolar, and...good Lord, must we go on?

Join the Nola Bulls and NolaFugees at Handsome Willy's as we celebrate the new regime by laughing at the old, while at the same time helping to support our favorite event, San Fermin in Nueva Orleans (the Running of the Bulls in New Orleans), scheduled for July 9-11.

Handsome Willy's will give you free food (paella and hamburgers). Two DJ's and a Brass Band will fill the airwaves. Bartenders will show you how to drink like Papa (Ernest) Hemingway. Your friends and family and YOU will provide the laughter...how? Skits, readings and anything you can think of to ridicule the foolish bastiges that have tormented our fair citizens for far too long!
