There's a palpable, throbbing excitement in the air at the offices of New Orleans' alternative weekly.
Enthused over the momentum that New Orleans mayoral candidate Ron Forman has gained since announcing his run, Gambit Weekly editor and political columnist Clancy Dubos has discovered that he no longer needs Cialis, his erectile dysfunction medication.

When the Alliance for Good Government came out with their endorsement of Ron Forman, I was like kiln-fired clay,” Dubos said. “And the way that politics is shifting in this city, I may never need those pills again.”

Dubos’ affection for the Audubon Institute CEO has been evident in recent columns. “Forman brings his hallmark energy, vision and salesmanship to the campaign,” Dubos wrote in the February 14 issue of Gambit. “Forman has a long track record of tackling tough assignments and getting them done.”

While Forman himself could not be reached for comment, Margo Dubos, publisher of Gambit Weekly and wife of Mr. Dubos, expressed joy over recent events.

“Our sex life hasn’t been this good since we saw the revenue stream our ‘Home Smart’ supplement was bringing in,” Mrs. Dubos said.
